Art Classes and Self Restoration: January in Chestertown

If you ever wanted to try painting with watercolors or throwing clay on a wheel, listen up:

RiverArts Chestertown has some short term classes available this January and wouldn’t that be a great reason to come and visit the Brampton?  Treat yourself to a luxurious stay and express yourself with color and clay.  Oooh…look at that! Poetry too!  🙂

On Wednesday evening, January 11,  grab an early dinner in town and then head over to the Clay Studio (right there on High Street, less than 2 miles from the inn!) for a beginners pottery class with hands-on learning as well as demonstrations.  It’s rare to find a one-off class; usually you have to sign up for an entire course.  Here’s a way to try it out and see if you’d like to pursue it further without spending a ton of money!

Or, on Saturday and Sunday, January 21 & 22, explore watercolors in Betterton, Maryland, just a 20 minute drive away.

Call us and mention this blog post and get a special rate if you are attending one of the classes.  What else have you got to do in January ??  Come see us in the land of pleasant living and bring your paint brushes!
