Blinkit, has expanded its instant delivery services to include smartphones and feature phones. The announcement came through Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa’s post on X, revealing partnerships with major phone manufacturers for this new service.

The 15-minute delivery service will initially be available in select areas of Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Customers can now order popular models including the Redmi 13 5G, Redmi 14C, iPhone 16, and Nokia 105 through the Blinkit app. To make purchases more accessible, the company is also offering no-cost EMI options on most devices.

This expansion into smartphone delivery follows Blinkit’s recent venture into emergency services, where the company launched a 10-minute ambulance service in Gurugram. That initiative, which aims to provide crucial emergency medical transport, is also planned for expansion to other major cities.

Last year, HMD Global announced a new multi-brand strategy where it would produce devices under HMD branding. After this announcement assumptions grew that HMD would discontinue Nokia-branded phones but HMD clarified via a press note that Nokia-branded phones will coexist alongside HMD devices for now.

Well, our latest discovery reveals that HMD could now push only HMD branded smartphones this is because all the Nokia smartphones are now shifted under a new category and are no longer in the main smartphone category on HMD global website and Indian website.

Apart from this HMD has also discontinued all Nokia branded smartphones on their global website while in the Indian region, only 1 Nokia smartphone- Nokia G42 5G and three tablets- Nokia T20, Nokia T10, and Nokia T21 are visible. It appears that HMD is slowly moving away from Nokia smartphones.
