Ahead of the CES 2025 event, LG Electronics has unveiled its all-new 2025 OLED Evo lineup that includes two models- OLED Evo M5 and OLED Evo G5 models. These models present unparalleled OLED picture quality, exceptional brightness, and advanced processing capabilities.

LG 2025 OLED EVO Lineup

This latest 2025 OLED EVO lineup is powered by an Alpha 11 AI processor Gen 2 processor and AI-driven personalization. The TVs feature LG’s upgraded Brightness Booster Ultimate technology that provides brightness three times higher than conventional OLED models. This lineup is said to refine every detail to perfection with flawless blacks, accurate color reproduction, and stable performance.

The OLED displays in this lineup have received UL solutions Perfect Black, and Perfect Color verification and are certified by Intertek for 100% color fidelity. These TVs have also received TUV Rheinland’s Quick Stability with Image Quality certification. These latest OLED EVO 4K TVs support Filmmaker Mode with Ambient Light Compensation. There are several gaming features included as well- the industry’s first 4K 165Hz variable refresh rate certified by NVIDIA SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium, tear-free, stutter-free gameplay, minimum input lag, and up to 165 frames per second.

For professional creators, it comes with Dynamic Tone Mapping Professional which offers expert-level control over HDR10 content. The Flex SoC has obtained Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL)-D certification, contributing significantly to xDCs ability.

Samsung is the first in the industry to adopt this Eclipsa audio technology and will be integrated into its 2025 TV lineup including the Crystal UHD series to premium flagship Neo QLED 8K models. Also, creators will be able to upload videos with Eclipsa Audio tracks to YouTube while viewers with 2025 Samsung devices will be able to watch YouTube audio with premium spatial audio when available.

Samsung and Google are working with Telecommunications Technology Associations (TTA) to create a certification program for devices using Eclipsa Audio, to ensure consistent audio quality.

These new monitors include the 2025 Smart Monitor, Odyssey gaming Monitor, and ViewFinity Monitor. While introducing these monitors, Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics said, “With the new monitors in our industry-leading lineups, we are giving people more ways to explore the content and connections that they love in new ways. Because of our new AI capabilities and size options, 2025 will see users across the world find the right monitor that fits them.”

Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF model)

The monitor is upgraded with AI features like smart picture adaptation and search functions. It features an AI Picture Optimizer that analyzes input signals to determine the type of content being viewed and automatically adjusts the display settings for the best visual experience. AI further recognizes the genre of the game being played and fine-tunes the picture settings. The monitor also incorporates a 4K AI Upscaling Pro that uses advanced AI processing and neural networks.

The above-upgraded features enhance the hardware performance of the M9 monitor. It sports 32 inch 4K OLED screen with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400. It comes with a thin design, an Easy setup stand, and a built-in 4K camera.

Odyssey Monitor Series

This monitor series is in new sizes with 2025 Odyssey OLED G8 and G6 models. Odyssey OLED G8 is the first 27-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor in the world. The screen packs in 165 PPI with a refresh rate of 240Hz. It provides a new level of detail and picture quality to game creators and players.

The second is the Odyssey G6 model, which comes with the first-ever OLED screen with a 500Hz refresh rate on its QHD screen. It offers lightning-fast speed and ultra-smooth gameplay. Both these models deliver 0.03ms response time, support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and are NVIDIA Sync compatible. They arrive with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and OLED large free screens.

LG Electronics (LG) announced its UltraGear GX9 series on Monday, comprising three new OLED gaming monitors. These models will be showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, beginning January 7 in Las Vegas. The lineup includes the LG UltraGear OLED 45GX990A, which features a 45-inch flexible OLED display with 5K2K resolution and has already earned the ‘Best of Innovation’ title at the CES 2025 Innovation Awards. Alongside it, LG will unveil the UltraGear 45GX950A and the UltraGear 39GX90SA, a smart monitor powered by LG’s webOS platform.

Key Features of the UltraGear GX9 Series

The 45GX990A features a 45-inch bendable OLED screen with 5K2K resolution (5,120 x 2,160 pixels) and a 21:9 aspect ratio. According to LG, this format delivers a more immersive gaming experience than standard 16:9 displays. Users can adjust the screen from a completely flat configuration to a 900R curvature, offering flexibility for different gaming scenarios. The model includes an ultra-fast 0.03ms (GtG) response time and second-generation Dual-Mode functionality, enabling eight customizable refresh rates and resolution settings.

Meanwhile, the 45GX950A also features a 45-inch OLED display with the same resolution and aspect ratio. However, it has an 800R curvature instead of a bendable screen. With a pixel density of 125 pixels per inch (PPI) and an RGWB subpixel layout, it enhances text readability and supports productivity tasks alongside gaming. Both models support DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 technologies, are NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certified, and are compatible with features like variable refresh rate (VRR).

The 39GX90SA, on the other hand, is a 39-inch gaming monitor with an 800R curved OLED display and a 21:9 aspect ratio. Powered by LG’s webOS, it doubles as an entertainment hub, allowing users to stream content without the need for additional hardware such as a PC or set-top box. The monitor also includes USB Type-C connectivity and an ergonomic stand for streamlined desk setups.

LG Electronics has announced the global launch of its innovative 77-inch LG SIGNATURE OLED T, the world’s first transparent and wireless 4K OLED TV. The groundbreaking television will debut in the U.S. market this December, followed by other markets.

First showcased at CES 2024, where it received five CES 2024 Innovation Awards including Best of Innovation, the OLED T also made TIME’s Best Inventions 2024 list. The TV features a unique transparent screen that can switch between transparent and opaque modes with a single button press.

The OLED T comes with several distinctive features:

The latest Redmi Watch 5 smartwatch offers a 2.07″ AMOLED display with 1500 nits brightness and 60Hz refresh rate. It also features a high-quality metal frame and a stainless steel rotating crown. An ultra-large field of view is also claimed on the device with 2mm narrow bezels and 82% screen-to-body ratio.
