The South Korean consumer electronics maker, Samsung, will be conducting its Galaxy Unpacked event today on the 22nd of January 2025, and many of its latest products are going to be unveiled at the grand ceremony. Among the much-awaited products is the next Galaxy S25 series flagship models and just a few hours ahead of their global launch, the live images of three new devices of the series have been revealed online.

Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra – Revealed Live Images

Unlike previous years, at this year’s first Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung is believed to unveil four new Galaxy S25 series models for its consumers and it is the live images of the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones that have been revealed.

We have already come across the design images of all these three models in the past, and the live images align with it. We can spot key design aspects such as the flat display/rear/side panels, thin symmetrical bezels, centrally-aligned punch-hole selfie camera, Galaxy Z Fold 6-like camera rings, and rounded corners even for the Galaxy S25 Ultra model too.

It also seems that the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ models are featured in the ‘Silver Shadow’ color, whereas the Galaxy S25 Ultra can be seen possibly in the Titanium Black and Titanium Gray colors. The Galaxy S25 smartphone Blue color variant has also been shared, along with the packaging boxes of the three devices.

Speaking more, apart from the above mentioned models, there is also a Galaxy S25 Slim device too that will be introduced along with the other smartphone models.

Next month in February 2025, the tech world is said to witness the debut of a lot of new smartphone devices and now, a reliable tipster on the Weibo platform has tipped the possible upcoming devices.

New Phones Said to Debut in February 2025

This update comes from the tipster – Digital Chat Station who in his Weibo post notes that five new smartphone models are confirmed to break their cover next month in February 2025. This includes Xiaomi’s 15 Ultra iterative camera flagship, OPPO’s Find N5 book-like or horizontally-folding flagship, Realme’s Neo 7 SE device, Huawei’s Pocket 3 clamshell foldable, as well as an undisclosed Snapdragon 8 Elite mid-range performance phone. These new devices will be unveiled in the Chinese market following the Chinese New Year or Spring Festival of this year (29th January 2025).

Speaking more, both the Snapdragon 8 Elite (7-core)-powered Find N5 and Dimensity 8400 Ultra-powered Realme Neo 7 SE devices are officially confirmed to launch next month in China, while previous reports also suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Xiaomi 15 Ultra will also probably launch in the same month itself. The previous Huawei Pocket 2 smartphone was launched in February 2024 and considering this, its successor – the Huawei Pocket 3 is also being expected to launch in the same time frame this year – in February (or maybe March) 2025 as per previous updates.

Regarding the undisclosed Snapdragon 8 Elite mid-range performance phone, the tech world has two guesses, it could either be the Realme GT 7 or Honor GT Pro. Both these smartphones are believed to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip itself, and the Realme GT 7 was also recently tipped to launch next month in February 2025. However, the Honor GT Pro launch was earlier reported to be in Q2 2025.

Based on recent reports, the Cupertino-based tech maker Apple is believed to unveil four new devices early this year in 2025, and these are expected to include the iPhone SE 4, iPad 11, iPad Air 13 (2025), and iPad Air 11 (2025) models.

Via a new update (from Weibo tipster – Experience more), few key details pertaining to the upcoming devices have been shared online, suggesting the processor and design features of some of the above mentioned Apple products. Read more about it below.

iPhone SE 4, iPad 11, iPad Air 13 (2025), and iPad Air 11 (2025) – Revealed Details

As per the source code listings itself, we are able to find the four mentioned Apple devices – ‘iPhone SE (4th Gen)’, ‘iPad (11th Gen)’, ‘iPad Air 13″ (M3)’, and ‘iPad Air 11″ (M3)’, and it has been pointed out that unlike what was previously revealed, the iPad Air 13 (2025) and iPad Air 11 (2025) are probably going to use the brand’s M3 chip and not the M4 chip. [To note, the iPhone SE 4 and iPad 11 are reportedly going to be powered by the A18 processor]

Furthermore, what seems to be the design images of the respective models have also been shared.

Speaking more, a clearer render image of the iPhone SE 4 device (which is said to be called iPhone 16E) has also been shared, and it aligns with the dummy units image that was recently revealed. It is featured in the expected White color choice with a flat rear panel having a single main camera, microphone hole, and LED flashlight placed towards the top-left corner. The Apple logo is also present at the center of the rear panel.

What should be noted is that, the render image suggests that the iPhone SE 4 is also likely going to have a small Dynamic Island, and not the rumored notch design, bringing a unified iPhone design. The display is also revealed to have symmetrical bezels on all four sides. Additionally, the power button can be spotted at the right side panel, whereas the left side panel appears to have an action button and the volume rocker.

About the launch, it could either take place in the month of March or April of 2025, and with more future updates, we will be able to get a better clarity on the launch time frame. Also, all the four devices – iPhone SE 4, iPad 11, iPad Air 13 (2025), and iPad Air 11 (2025) are expected to debut around the same time itself.

ASUS officially unveiled its ROG Phone 9 series in global markets last year. The series included three models- ROG Phone 9, ROG Phone 9 Pro, and ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition. The brand also seems to be planning on launching a more affordable variant of ROG Phone 9- ROG Phone 9 FE. Last year this device already made its appearance on GSMA and WiFi alliance databases.

ASUS ROG Phone 9 FE has now been spotted on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification and Thailand’s NBTC database with model number ASUS_AI2401_N.

Both the listings reveal the moniker of the device while the NBTC database reveals that the smartphone will support GSM/WCDMA/LTE/NR connectivity options. ASUS ROG Phone 8 and Phone 8 Pro have a similar model number- AI2401, therefore it is assumed that just like ROG Phone 8/8 Pro, ROG Phone 9 FE could be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC as well. Though we should wait for more updates before concluding.

The previous WiFi alliance database revealed that the device will support 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz WiFi bands and WiFi 6 Miracast. The smartphone is expected to arrive with ROG UI based on Android 15 and can be priced lower than ROG Phone 9 series devices.

This is because, the upcoming Galaxy A06 5G, Galaxy F06 5G, and Galaxy M06 5G models have made it to the Bluetooth SIG certification database.

The Galaxy A06 5G with model numbers of ‘SM-A066B’, ‘SM-A066M/DS’, ‘SM-A066M’, ‘SM-A066E/DS’, and ‘SM-A066B/DS’; Galaxy F06 5G with the model number of ‘SM-E066B/DS’; and the Galaxy M06 5G with the model number of ‘SM-M066B/DS’, have been certified by the Bluetooth SIG authority and their monikers have been mentioned. These models have also been categorized as mobile phones supporting multi-band 2G/3G/4G/5G network, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Looking at previous updates, these Galaxy A06 5G, Galaxy F06 5G, and Galaxy M06 5G models have previously received certifications from the Wi-Fi Alliance and Nemko certification authorities too. Moreover, the Galaxy A06 5G was spotted on the FCC certification platform of the United States a few days back, as well as on India’s BIS database.

A few of the key details revealed include Wi-Fi with 2.4GHz and 5GHz support (also 5.8 GHz for Galaxy A06 as per FCC), dual SIM tray, and USB type-C charging interface. The FCC-listed Galaxy A06 5G is also pointed out to have Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and pack a 5000 mAh battery (same as its 4G counterpart). Also to add, the Galaxy A06 5G schematic image on the FCC database revealed a rectangular-shaped vertically-placed rear camera module too.

New Chinese Flagship Series – Revealed Sales Figures

This update comes from the Chinese tipster – Digital Chat Station, and the shared data is as per on 12th of January, 2025. As mentioned, these sales figures are likely about the latest Xiaomi 15 series, Huawei Mate 70 series, Vivo X200 series, and OPPO Find X8 series.

In the Xiaomi 15 series, in October 2024, two smartphone models were unveiled – Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. The sales figure of the series is revealed to have crossed 2 million. To add, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone is also said to join the series next month in February 2025 as the third model of the series, and as the brand’s next iterative camera flagship.

For the Huawei Mate 70 series, four smartphone models (Huawei Mate 70, Huawei Mate 70 Pro, Huawei Mate 70 Pro+, and Huawei Mate 70 RS Ultimate Design) were unveiled in November 2024. The sales figure of Huawei’s Mate 70 series is pointed out as 1.5 million.

Coming to Vivo’s X200 series, it was launched in October 2024 with three smartphone models – Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro, and Vivo X200 Pro mini. The series reportedly invited 1.2 million in sales. Additionally, Vivo X200s (series) and Vivo X200 Ultra devices are also expected to join the series this year.

Finally, the OPPO Find X8 series also debuted in October 2024 with two models – OPPO Find X8 and OPPO Find X8 Pro. The series is suggested to have sold 1 million in sales. This year, three more new models are believed to join the series – OPPO Find X8 mini, OPPO Find X8S, and OPPO Find X8 Ultra.

Samsung is expected to launch an ultra-thin form factor smartphone- Galaxy S25 Slim, lately a lot of updates of this device have surfaced online via various reports and rumors. This alleged Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro earbuds carries the model number of ‘M2438E1’ and it has been categorized as a ‘wireless earphones’. The previously revealed specs such as Wi-Fi (5.1 GHz support) and Bluetooth (with Bluetooth Low Energy) connectivity have again been revealed via the FCC listing. Moreover, the nominal voltage of the charging case and earphone is revealed to be 3.87 Vdc and 3.88 Vdc respectively, and the device is pointed out to support wireless charging just like its predecessor.

Via a new update shared by a tipster on the X platform, the upcoming Vivo and iQOO branded smartphones that are launching in the coming months in India have been tipped online. Additionally, few key details of one of the smartphones have also been shared.

This update comes from the X tipster – Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), who has revealed that two Vivo and two iQOO smartphones are launching in India in the next coming months. These include the iQOO Neo 10R 5G, iQOO Z10X 5G, Vivo T4X 5G, and Vivo Y19E models.

As suggested, the tipster has also shared the details concerning the iQOO Neo 10R 5G device. This smartphone is said to carry the model number – ‘I2221’, and could be using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. An AMOLED display with a screen size of 6.78″ and supporting 144Hz refresh rate may also be featured. On the camera side, it is tipped to sport a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 16MP selfie camera. A 6400 mAh battery is also likely going to be backed within, possibly supporting an 80W wired fast charging feature.

The upcoming iQOO Neo 10R 5G is also revealed to be made available in two storage options (8GB/256GB & 12GB/256GB) and two color choices (Blue White Slice & Lunar Titanium). Furthermore, it has been tipped to launch next month in February 2025, and is said to arrive priced under INR 30,000.

To add, based on a previous update, the iQOO Neo 10R 5G was pointed out as a possible re-branded version of the iQOO Neo 10 device that was unveiled in China back in November 2024, and apart from the two above mentioned storage options, an 8GB/128GB variant is also being expected.
