OnePlus 13 global unit gets its third update within 3 weeks of its official launch

The OnePlus 13, launched in India and global markets on January 7, 2025, is now receiving its third update. The first update arrived just a few days after launch, bringing the December 2024 security patch. Recently, the Indian units received the SOTA OxygenOS V30P01 update. Now, OnePlus is rolling out another update for the OnePlus 13 with the firmware version CPH2549_15.0.0.405(EX01).

Interestingly, OnePlus has not officially announced this update, as it typically does. This suggests it may be available to users enrolled in the Release Candidate program, allowing them to receive updates roughly a week before the official rollout. The update is relatively small, with a download size of just 314.24MB. However, it includes camera bug fixes, enhancements to communication stability, and improvements to overall system security.

It seems likely that the update will reach Indian units first. Meanwhile, some US users have reported not receiving the second update, the SOTA V30P01, yet. This could indicate that while the third update rolls out in India, other regions may receive the SOTA update during the same period, and subsequent rollouts will follow.

The changelog for this update is listed below for your reference.
