New Chinese Flagship Series Sales Figures Seemingly Shared Of Xiaomi 15 Series, Huawei Mate 70 Series, Vivo X200 Series, and OPPO Find X8 Series

Many Chinese smartphone makers have already unveiled their new flagship models last year in 2024, and a few more models are said to join them early this year. As per a new update from a Chinese tipster on the Weibo platform, presumably, the sales figures of the latest Xiaomi 15 series, Huawei Mate 70 series, Vivo X200 series, and OPPO Find X8 series have been shared online.

New Chinese Flagship Series – Revealed Sales Figures

This update comes from the Chinese tipster – Digital Chat Station, and the shared data is as per on 12th of January, 2025. As mentioned, these sales figures are likely about the latest Xiaomi 15 series, Huawei Mate 70 series, Vivo X200 series, and OPPO Find X8 series.

In the Xiaomi 15 series, in October 2024, two smartphone models were unveiled – Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. The sales figure of the series is revealed to have crossed 2 million. To add, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone is also said to join the series next month in February 2025 as the third model of the series, and as the brand’s next iterative camera flagship.

For the Huawei Mate 70 series, four smartphone models (Huawei Mate 70, Huawei Mate 70 Pro, Huawei Mate 70 Pro+, and Huawei Mate 70 RS Ultimate Design) were unveiled in November 2024. The sales figure of Huawei’s Mate 70 series is pointed out as 1.5 million.

Coming to Vivo’s X200 series, it was launched in October 2024 with three smartphone models – Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro, and Vivo X200 Pro mini. The series reportedly invited 1.2 million in sales. Additionally, Vivo X200s (series) and Vivo X200 Ultra devices are also expected to join the series this year.

Finally, the OPPO Find X8 series also debuted in October 2024 with two models – OPPO Find X8 and OPPO Find X8 Pro. The series is suggested to have sold 1 million in sales. This year, three more new models are believed to join the series – OPPO Find X8 mini, OPPO Find X8S, and OPPO Find X8 Ultra.

While the public beta program of HarmonyOS NEXT is ongoing for certain devices, the brand has updated the Chinese developer website with the ‘HarmonyOS’ branding. This could mean that Huawei is returning back to ‘HarmonyOS’ from ‘HarmonyOS NEXT’.

Huawei Going Back to ‘HarmonyOS’ Branding From HarmonyOS ‘NEXT’?

Based on this new update (received via @LivingInHarmony), it has been pointed out that as per Huawei’s updated Chinese developer website, the brand is slowly returning back to ‘HarmonyOS’ branding from ‘HarmonyOS NEXT’. The ‘DEVELOPERS’ tag further reiterates the website shift that is believed to take place soon, and a message board about the Chinese Spring Festival is being displayed now.

During the Spring Festival holiday from the 28th of January 2025 to the 4th of February 2025, Huawei is planning on rolling out a few updates and these may be affecting Huawei developer services. Review for identity verification, review for merchant identification, and customer service are some of the things that will be carried out during the holiday period. About a few other news concerning the brand, very recently Huawei introduced two of its latest products for Indian customers. It appears Huawei is now expanding its wearables section in the Indian market. Earlier Huawei launched the Huawei Band 9 in the Indian market and now it has launched the Huawei FreeBuds SE 2 also.

Huawei Freebuds SE 2 Specs and Features

The earbuds feature 10mm Dynamic drivers. It supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The earbuds come with a touch sensor allowing users to answer or hang up calls, wake up voice assistant, and change the music track. It arrives with an IP54 rating.

The earbuds are equipped with a 41mAh battery while the charging case is equipped with a 510mAh battery. Along with the charging case, the earbuds offer 40 hours of battery life and the earbuds alone offer 9 hours of playback time on a single charge while in just 10 minutes of charge, users can enjoy 3 hours of playback time. Users can charge the wearable via a USB Type-C port.

Pricing and Availability

The Huawei FreeBuds SE 2 are available on Amazon India for ₹2,999 and come in two colour options: Island Blue and Ceramic White.

Last year Huawei officially unveiled its fitness and sleep tracker- Huawei Band 9 in its home country China and now soon this fitness tracker will soon be made available in the Indian market as well. The pre-orders for this wearable have started in India via Flipkart.

Huawei Band 9: Availability

Huawei Band 9 is listed with White, Black, Pink, and Yellow color options. It is listed for Rs 3,999 and can be pre-ordered via Flipkart. The wearable will be launching on 17th January and is said to be available via Amazon as well.

Huawei Band 9: Features

The wearable sports a 1.47-inch AMOLED 2.5D touch display. It is 8.99 mm thick and weighs 14g. Users are offered themed and Always on displayed watch faces. It supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and is compatible with Android 8.0 or above and iOS 13.0 or above. There are 100 workout modes that include auto-detection for four common exercises. It is equipped with a 9-axis IMU sensor, optical heart rate sensor, and ambient light sensor.

Health features include- Huawei TruSeen 5.5 heart rate monitoring, Huawei TruSleep 4.0 sleep tracking, Huawei TruRelax stress tracking, and Menstrual cycle tracking. It comes with 5ATM Water resistance up to 50m. It offers up to 14 days of battery life and can be fully charged in 45 minutes. The wearable arrives with a new and improved fluoroelastomer strap. Huawei Band 9 features a special sleep mode, keeps tabs on heart rate, SpO, respiratory rate, and any abnormal breathing while sleeping, and custom sleep hygiene. It provides custom fitness plans, smart reminders, insightful reports, and handy reminders for incoming calls, calendar events, and new messages delivered.

Around the end of last month in December 2024, we had spotted Huawei’s upcoming Band 10 (NOR-B29) smart band device on both the SDPPI and TUV SUD certification databases and now, it has again appeared on the SDPPI and TUV SUD platforms, but with a different model number.

Huawei Band 10 (NOR-B19) – SDPPI and TUV SUD Certifications

This Huawei Band 10 device which bears the model number of ‘NOR-B19’ has received the SDPPI certification with the certificate number – ‘106897/SDPPI/2025’, and has been listed on the database with the PLG ID – ‘1997’. On the certification platform, the moniker ‘Huawei Band 10’ has been mentioned, and it is categorized as a ‘Smart Watch’ itself.

About its TUV SUD certification, it has been certified with the certificate number – ‘SG PSB-IV-13082’ and is listed again as a ‘Fitness Wristband (Smart Band)’. The Huawei Band 10 ‘NOR-B19’ is also pointed out to feature an IP68-rated body with protection class: III.

From what it seems, this could be a different model or a variant of the same Huawei Band 10 device (assuming). With its launch, we will be able to confirm it.

Also, some of its expected specs based on assumptions and rumors include a 1.47″ AMOLED rectangular display with 194 x 368 pixels resolution, 2.5D glass, HarmonyOS 4.0, Bluetooth version 5.3, NFC, Huawei Health app, heart rate/SpO2/step/sleep trackers, 100+ sports modes, 5-ATM waterproof design, poly-carbonate body + silicon straps, 200 mAh battery capacity, and about 14 days of battery life.

Huawei, the Chinese consumer electronics maker, has already made some of its devices eligible for the HarmonyOS Next public beta program and this year in 2025, more models will be receiving it. A tipster on the X-platform has now revealed the possible devices list.

Huawei Devices – HarmonyOS Next Public Beta Plan Eligibility in 2025

The HarmonyOS Next was introduced last year in October 2024 and in the same month itself the brand revealed few of the devices that will be made eligible for the open and closed beta programs. Among these, the Mate 60 series, Mate X5 series, and MatePad Pro 13.2″ series were provided with the HarmonyOS Next public beta eligibility on 8th October 2024, whereas the Pura 70 series, Pocket 2 series, and MatePad Pro 11″ 2024 models were made eligible for the public beta program on the 22nd of October 2024. Also to add, the latest Mate 70 series and Mate X6 devices also got the HarmonyOS Next public beta program eligibility in December 2024.

In 2025, this year, the Mate XT | Ultimate Design, nova Flip, Nova 13 series, Nova 12 series, MatePad Pro 12.2″, MatePad Air 12″, and MatePad 11.5″  S series devices are expected to get the HarmonyOS Next public beta update. Additionally, more devices will also be receiving it as per what has been revealed.

Speaking more, the HarmonyOS Next is considered to be a major upgrade over the previous custom skin and unlike this which is based on the Android operating system, the latest HarmonyOS Next is independent of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). Back in October 2024, Huawei silently unveiled its Huawei Watch GT 5 smartwatch in the Indian market and now in the same way the brand has launched Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro smartwatch in the country. Let’s dive in to know all the detailed information.

Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro: Specifications

The smartwatch comes with only a 46mm variant and features a 1.43-inch display that offers a 466×466 pixel screen resolution. It is compatible with Android 9.0 or later and iOS 13.0 or later. It features various sensors- accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, optical heart rate, barometer, temperature, ambient light, ECG, and depth. The smartwatch complies with 5ATM-rated water resistance and IP69K rating allowing 40 metre free diving. It also includes a Celia keyboard for quick replies, an optimized interface, a watch screenshot feature, and app downloads from the App gallery.

It comes with 100+ sports modes that also include Pro sports modes like golf, diving, and trail running. It includes 11 new watch face themes, Huawei Sunflower Positioning system, and Activity Ring 2.0 and supports various health-related features like ECG analysis, Women’s Health, Sleep analysis, and pulse wave arrhythmia analysis.  Coming to its battery life, the smartwatch offers 14-day battery life for maximum usage, 9-day battery life for regular usage, and 5-day battery life with Always-on display enabled. Users can also attend calls with the help of a built-in microphone and speaker. Connectivity options include- NFC support, Bluetooth 5.2, and GNSS support.

Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro: Availability

The smartwatch comes in Sports edition witha  Black silicone strap and Classic edition with Titanium version options. The sports edition is priced at Rs 29,999 while the classic edition is priced at Rs 39,999. The smartwatch will be available via Flipkart and Amazon.

Following the previous Enjoy 70 series models such as Enjoy 70Enjoy 70 Pro, Enjoy 70S, and Enjoy 70z, the Chinese smartphone maker Huawei is reportedly in the works with the next Enjoy 70X (4G) model. A new poster image of this upcoming device has been shared online, along with its possible launch date. Moreover, the smartphone has also now made it to the China Telecom website.

Huawei Enjoy 70X – Revealed Design, Key Specs, Launch Date, and China Telecom Listing

Via the previous TENAA listing itself, we received an idea of the upcoming Enjoy 70X smartphone’s design and now, the poster image further aligns with it. The curved-edge display screen with a pill-shaped camera module, as well as the circular rear camera module with the two camera sensors and dual tone LED flashlight can again be spotted.

Moreover, the poster image points out certain key features of the device such as the one-click Beidou support, HarmonyOS security, long battery life, hyperbolic eye protection screen, five star super drop resistance, and a 50MP RYYB dark light camera. Just to add, the device is also tipped to be powered by the Kirin 8000A 5G processor.

Huawei Enjoy 70X - Poster Image

Coming to the China Telecom listing, it is a Huawei device with the model number – ‘BRE-AL80’ that has appeared on the database, and it is said to be Huawei’s Enjoy 70X smartphone. However, it should be noted that the model number – ‘BRE-AL00a’ was also previously attributed to the Enjoy 70X model, with which it reportedly appeared on the TENAA database.

Speaking more about the China Telecom listing, specifications such as the HarmonyOS 4.3 operating system, 6.7″ display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and 16.7 million colors, and glass back have been revealed. Three storage models – 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 8GB/512GB can be expected, and four color choices – Lake Green, Spruce Blue, Snow White, and Golden Black. The China Telecom listing also reveals that it will have a starting price of CNY 1799 for the 8GB/128GB model, whereas the 8GB/256GB and 8GB/512GB models could be priced at CNY 1999 and CNY 2299 respectively. [Again, do note that the image on the China Telecom website has only a single-punch-hole centrally-aligned selfie camera.]

Huawei Enjoy 70X - China Telecom Listing

Regarding the launch date, previously the Enjoy 70X was said to launch in China on the 30th of December 2024. But, as per new updates, it is now scheduled to take place on the 3rd of January 2025, one day after the Redmi Turbo 4 launch (which is supposedly the first phone of 2025).

Huawei Enjoy 70X - Expected Design

The Chinese leading smartphone maker, Huawei, has already unveiled a few of its Enjoy 70 series models (Enjoy 70, Enjoy 70 Pro, Enjoy 70S, & Enjoy 70z) and via a new update from a Weibo tipster, key specs regarding an upcoming Enjoy 70 series device has been shared online.

Huawei Enjoy 70X – Tipped Key Specs

This update comes from the tipster – Digital Chat Station who has revealed in a new Weibo post that the next Enjoy 70X model from Huawei is possibly going to use the brand’s own Kirin 8000A 5G processor (unlike older updates) and come with Beidou satellite messaging support. Moreover, this device is suggested to feature a centrally-aligned dual-hole hyperbolic (dual-curved) display, along with a rear-centered large circular camera module with star ring design. Additionally, a 50MP primary shooter can also be expected, with RYYB support.

Speaking more, based on previous updates, the Huawei Enjoy 70X (4G) is believed to feature a 6.78″ display screen with 2700 x 1224 pixel resolution and 10-bit color depth. Apart from the 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 8MP front-facing camera are likely to be present. It may also be packing a 6000 mAh battery which supports 40W fast charging, as well as an under-display fingerprint reader. 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options are also among the expected specs. Furthermore, the possible design images of the Enjoy 70X smartphone have also been revealed.

Regarding its launch, it is expected to take place at the end of this month, on the 30th of December 2024 in China. Reportedly, it has also received certifications from the 3C, CMIIT, Radio Approval, and TENAA authorities as well.

Huawei Band 9

The Chinese consumer electronics maker, Huawei, is reportedly going to unveil its new Band 10 device soon and it has now made it to the SDPPI and TUV SUD certification platforms. Via a listing, one of its key specifications has been revealed as well.

Huawei Band 10 – SDPPI and TUV SUD Certifications

The upcoming Huawei Band 10 device bears the model number of ‘NOR-B29’ and has been certified by the SDPPI authority of Indonesia with the certification number of ‘106598/SDPPI/2024’ and PLG ID of ‘1997’. The moniker of the device has been mentioned on the SDPPI database and it has been categorized under the ‘Smart Watch’ segment.

Coming to its TUV SUD listing, again it has appeared with the same model number of ‘NOR-B29’ and has been listed as a ‘Fitness wristband (Smart Band)’. Furthermore, the TUV SUD database points out that the device will feature an IP68-rated body with class III protection.

Speaking more, based on updates with respect to the previous April 2024-released Huawei Band 9 and May 2023-released Huawei Band 8 models, the upcoming Huawei Band 10 device is said to be introduced in April or May of 2025, next year.

Few of the key specs that are being expected on the device include a 1.47″ AMOLED rectangular display with 194 x 368 pixels resolution, 2.5D glass, HarmonyOS 4.0, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Huawei Health app, heart rate/SpO2/step/sleep trackers, over 100 sports modes, 5 ATM waterproof design, poly-carbonate body + silicon straps, 200 mAh battery capacity, and up to 14 days battery life. Do note that these specs are based on assumptions and we need to wait for more updates before jumping into any conclusions.
