Many Chinese smartphone makers have already unveiled their new flagship models last year in 2024, and a few more models are said to join them early this year. As per a new update from a Chinese tipster on the Weibo platform, presumably, the sales figures of the latest Xiaomi 15 series, Huawei Mate 70 series, Vivo X200 series, and OPPO Find X8 series have been shared online.

New Chinese Flagship Series – Revealed Sales Figures

This update comes from the Chinese tipster – Digital Chat Station, and the shared data is as per on 12th of January, 2025. As mentioned, these sales figures are likely about the latest Xiaomi 15 series, Huawei Mate 70 series, Vivo X200 series, and OPPO Find X8 series.

In the Xiaomi 15 series, in October 2024, two smartphone models were unveiled – Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. The sales figure of the series is revealed to have crossed 2 million. To add, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone is also said to join the series next month in February 2025 as the third model of the series, and as the brand’s next iterative camera flagship.

For the Huawei Mate 70 series, four smartphone models (Huawei Mate 70, Huawei Mate 70 Pro, Huawei Mate 70 Pro+, and Huawei Mate 70 RS Ultimate Design) were unveiled in November 2024. The sales figure of Huawei’s Mate 70 series is pointed out as 1.5 million.

Coming to Vivo’s X200 series, it was launched in October 2024 with three smartphone models – Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro, and Vivo X200 Pro mini. The series reportedly invited 1.2 million in sales. Additionally, Vivo X200s (series) and Vivo X200 Ultra devices are also expected to join the series this year.

Finally, the OPPO Find X8 series also debuted in October 2024 with two models – OPPO Find X8 and OPPO Find X8 Pro. The series is suggested to have sold 1 million in sales. This year, three more new models are believed to join the series – OPPO Find X8 mini, OPPO Find X8S, and OPPO Find X8 Ultra.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone (global model) which bears the model number of ‘25010PN30G’ has been certified by the EMVCo authority, and it has received the certification with the approval number of ‘MTA_LOA_XICC_05291’. The certification validity will be till the 26th of November 2027.

Moreover, the certification database mentions the moniker of the device, and points out that it will run on the Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 based on the Android 15 operating system. One more thing that has been suggested by the EMVCo listing is that, just like its predecessor, this time’s Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone could also support NFC connectivity.

Speaking of previous updates, very recently it was tipped that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra device would be featuring the brand’s own self-developed mystery small Surge chip, ensuring proper balance of performance and battery efficiency. The schematic, internal design, and render images of the device have also been shared already, revealing its possible design language. Furthermore, it has been listed on the SDPPI, EEC, 3C, MIIT, BIS, and IMEI databases.

However, its specifications still remain unknown. Since this is a Surge chip, we can expect it to deliver a perfect balance between performance and power efficiency.

Speaking about previous updates, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone as mentioned was recently certified by Indonesia’s SDPPI certification authority, and before which, it received the European EEC certification, China’s 3C and MIIT certifications, and India’s BIS certification. It has also been listed on the IMEI database. Moreover, few of its key specs have also been revealed, whereas the possible design was understood via the schematic, internal design, and render images that have been shared online.

Two of the much awaited upcoming Xiaomi and OnePlus devices – Xiaomi 15 Ultra and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro have now made it to the 3C certification database of China. Via the certification listings, the wired fast charging specs of the two smartphones have been revealed as well.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro – 3C Certification

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra model bears the model numbers – ‘25010PN30C’ and ‘25019PNF3C’, and has been listed on the 3C database as a ‘Satellite Digital Mobile Phone’ with 5G network connectivity. A charging adapter with model number – ‘MDY-14-EC’ has also been listed along with the smartphone, pointing out that it will support a 90W wired fast charging feature. Moreover, two variants might be arriving – Tiantong Satellite Calls (25010PN30C) and Tiantong Satellite Calls + Beidou Satellite Text Messages variants (25019PNF3C), as per the 3C database.

About the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, it carries the model number – ‘PKR110’ and is mentioned to be a ‘5G digital mobile phone’. It has been certified along with the ‘VCBAOBCH’ charging adapter, revealing a wired fast charging support of up to 100W.

Xiaomi 15 and POCO F7 – BIS Listing

The Xiaomi 15 and POCO F7 smartphones bearing model numbers – ‘24129PN74I’ and ‘2412DPC0AI’ have been listed on the BIS certification platform of India. Both these are the Indian variants of the respective smartphones and via their listing, the launch in the Indian market has been confirmed. Moreover, based on the model numbers (‘2412’), the launch may take place next month in December 2024 or around the same time. To add, the two devices have received the BIS inclusion as of on the 22nd of November 2024.

Based on reports, POCO F7 smartphone is believed to be the re-branded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 device that is expected to debut next month (December 2024) in China. The POCO F7 series apart from the vanilla POCO F7 device is also said to be accompanied by the POCO F7 Pro and POCO F7 Ultra smartphones as well.

As is already known from previous reports, Xiaomi’s upcoming 15 Ultra smartphone is expected to sport a quad camera unit at its rear, probably featuring a 50MP LYT900 primary camera with 23mm focal length & f/1.6 aperture, 50MP ISOCELL JN5 (S5KJN5) ultrawide camera, 50MP IMX858 periscope telephoto camera with 3x zoom, 11.51mm physical focal length, & f/1.8 aperture, and a 200MP S5KHP9 periscope telephoto camera with 4.3x optical zoom and 100mm focal length.

Looking at the now-leaked internal design image of the device, we can spot the 200MP periscope lens at the top and the 50MP telephoto lens just below it. Moreover, the main camera is placed at the right of the telephoto lens, whereas the ultrawide lens is on the left side.

Speaking more, the thick middle frame of the device as well as the wireless charging coil can also be seen in the internal design image, again revealing its sturdy design and wireless charging capability.

This update comes from the tipster – Digital Chat Station, who has revealed that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone would likely be featuring a 50MP IMX858 telephoto camera, with 70mm 3x zoom capability, f/1.8 aperture, 11.51mm physical focal length, and 1/2.51″ sensor size. A dual telephoto camera module will be present this time too, just like what other previous reports revealed, and it will support telephoto macro capability. A new photography kit has also been tipped, which will be providing a better photography experience to users.

Speaking more, earlier in the month of October 2024 itself, it was understood that the next Xiaomi 15 Ultra device would probably be sporting a quad camera system with new main camera, new telephoto camera, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. A recent update also pointed out that the four camera sensors are said to be a 50MP LYT900 (wide) main camera, 50MP S5KJN5 ultrawide camera, 50MP Sony IMX858 (3x) telephoto camera (as mentioned above), and a 200MP S5KHP9 (5x) periscope telephot0 camera. The Redmi smartphone that has appeared on the IMDA platform bears the model number of ‘24117RN76O’, and it is revealed to be a mobile phone with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC connectivity support.

The Xiaomi 15 has a price tag of CNY 4499, CNY 4799, CNY 4999, CNY 5499 respectively for the 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB storage models. The Diamond Limited Edition model of the smartphone is priced CNY 5999. The booking has already begun for the Xiaomi 15, with availability scheduled from the 31st of October 2024.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro device’s 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB have respective price points of CNY 5299, CNY 5799, and CNY 6499. The 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB models are available for pre-order, whereas the booking for the 12GB/256GB model is currently live. To add, for the Bright Silver Edition, customers will have to pay an additional CNY 200. Again, the sale will start on the 31st of October 2024.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro are already available for purchase in the Chinese market. The Pad 7 model has price tags of CNY 1999 (8GB/128), CNY 2299 (8GB/256GB), and CNY 2599 (12GB/256GB), whereas the the Pad 7 Pro is priced at CNY 2499 (8GB/128GB), CNY 2799 (8GB/256GB), CNY 3099 (12GB/256GB), and CNY 3499 (12GB/512GB). With an additional CNY 200, customers will also be able to get the optional nano matter screen for 256GB and higher storage models.

Xiaomi 15 Series – Teased Specs

The Xiaomi 15 series as is already known will be sporting a Leica-branded camera module, and it is now revealed to equip itself with a new miniaturized Leica optical system integrated with Xiaomi AISP 2.0. The AI large model algorithm also speeds up the capturing speed by 82%.

The display is made with an exclusively customized M9 luminous material, and has 1.38mm ultra narrow equal bezels on all four sides. Moreover, 3200 nits brightness rate is also supported. 59.4 FPS average frame rate, 42.1° C average temperature, and 73.7mW single frame power consumption are the noted data while playing a large-scale 3D turn-based mobile game with 2K resolution for one hour, meaning both performance and energy efficiency are assured.
