LG Launched its Latest UltraGear G8 27″ Gaming Monitor: Listed in China and Japan
LG, another leading South Korean consumer electronics maker, recently unveiled its UltraGear GX9 series and now, the brand has launched the UltraGear G8 27″ gaming monitor. As of now, this new gaming monitor is listed in the Chinese and Japanese markets.

LG UltraGear G8 27″ Gaming Monitor – Now Launched
The LG UltraGear G8 27″ gaming monitor as suggested by its moniker features a 27″ large 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) Nano IPS Black display, and delivers deep contrast and great color accuracy. It supports dual refresh modes – ‘240Hz at 4K resolution’ and ‘480Hz at 1080p resolution’. To reduce motion blur, the brand has also provided 1ms GtG response time too.
Other key display specs include a contrast ratio of 2000:1, brightness of 450 nits, and VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification for sharp and vibrant visuals. NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility, VESA AdaptiveSync, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro are also supported on the gaming monitor, assuring users with a smooth and tear-free game-play experience. 99% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, and 86.6% Adobe RGB are also there.
On the connectivity side, the device has DisplayPort 2.1, dual HDMI 2.1 ports, USB type-A port, and 4-pole headphone jack. Speaking more, narrow bezels on four sides, tilt/height/rotation/pivot adjustment, built-in FPS counter, enhanced accuracy with cross hair overlay, reduced input lag with dynamic action sync, better visibility in dark with Black stabilizer, and unique hexagonal lighting design are few more of its key specs. To note, it does not have in-built speakers.
As mentioned above, currently LG’s UltraGear G8 27″ gaming monitor is listed only in China and Japan. To add, in the Chinese market it is priced CNY 5999 (~ USD 818). The global roll out of this latest product is also said to take place soon, and more customers across the world will be able to get it.
