OPPO Watch X2 ‘OWW242’ Model Spotted on the TENAA Database of China

The Chinese consumer electronics maker, OPPO, is believed to unveil its Watch X2 series models next month (February 2025) in its home market and we have already come across a few certification listings of the upcoming devices. Now, the OPPO Watch X2 (OWW242) model has been certified by the TENAA authority, revealing key specs and its render image.

OPPO Watch X2 (OWW242) – TENAA Certification

The upcoming OPPO Watch X2 smartwatch carrying the model number – ‘OWW242′ has received the TENAA certification with the certificate number of ’00-D124-249419’ and has been listed as a ‘TD-LTE wireless data terminal device’. It is pointed out to run on Android operating system, support eSIM (compatible with China Unicom and China Mobile operators), and pack a 345 mAh rated battery. Bluetooth, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Wi-Fi, and NFC connectivity are also supported.

Speaking of the revealed render image, it is different from the OPPO ‘OWW251’ image, and we can spot it with White/Cream leather straps, circular dial, Gold body + White/Silver bezels, and likely a rotating crown at the right. A previous report also suggests it to be made available in Infinite Brown, Peak Blue, and Black Lava colors, and to not support ECG.

Speaking more, OPPO is now believed to introduce three new Watch X2 series models this time – Watch X2, Watch X2 (46mm), & Watch X2 Pro. The previous update also claims that there are five variants in work – OPPO Watch X2 (OWW242), OPPO Watch X2 Pro (OWW251), OPPO Watch X2 – Global (OWWE251), OnePlus Watch 3 (OPWW251), and OnePlus Watch 3 – Global (OPWWE251).

Apart from these, the OPPO Watch X2 (series) was tipped recently to support blood pressure warning function, whereas previous reports pointed to key specs such as an OLED round display, ColorOS full intelligent system, ECG electrocardiogram (for certain models), 60-seconds health check, wrist temperature measurement, exercise monitoring, GPS, 4G (eSIM), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, great waterproof capabilities, 631 mAh/648 mAh battery backup, and the 10W fast charge support.
