Alleged Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro Appears on the FCC Certification Platform, Suggesting its Global Launch
The Chinese consumer electronics maker, Xiaomi, has already unveiled its Xiaomi Buds 5 earbuds both in its home market and in the global market. Last month, the Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro took its place in reports as it was spotted on the CMIIT certification platform. Now, the upcoming device has also made it to the FCC database. Additionally, via this new listing, the global launch of the earbuds has also been suggested.

Alleged Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro – FCC Certification
This alleged Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro earbuds carries the model number of ‘M2438E1’ and it has been categorized as a ‘wireless earphones’. The previously revealed specs such as Wi-Fi (5.1 GHz support) and Bluetooth (with Bluetooth Low Energy) connectivity have again been revealed via the FCC listing. Moreover, the nominal voltage of the charging case and earphone is revealed to be 3.87 Vdc and 3.88 Vdc respectively, and the device is pointed out to support wireless charging just like its predecessor.
Speaking more, some of the technical details revealed are the ‘FHSS’ modulation technology; GFSK, π/4 DQPSK, 8DPSK modulation types; 2402MHz ~ 2480MHz operating frequency; 79 number of channels; 17.62mW maximum output power; PIFA antenna with -7.06 dBi gain on left and PIFA antenna with -7dBi gain on right (left ear: 2.4g antenna gain is -7.06dBi and 5g antenna gain is -8.05dBi); ‘V3’ hardware version; ‘0.0.6.7’ software version for charging case and ‘O71_W_2.0.4.8_241211’ for earphones; and 0.21 meter charging cable.
About its launch, as previously revealed, the brand is said to launch its Xiaomi 15 Ultra iterative camera flagship next month in February 2025 in the Chinese market, and the Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro earbuds is also believed to launch alongside with it. Following their Chinese debut, both these devices are also now expected to launch in the global market too.
