Xiaomi 15 Ultra – To Feature New Self-Developed Mystery Small Surge Chip
As per this new update shared by a tipster (@That_Kartikey) on the X platform, Xiaomi’s upcoming 15 Ultra smartphone is revealed to feature a new self-developed mystery small Surge chip onboard. However, its specifications still remain unknown. Since this is a Surge chip, we can expect it to deliver a perfect balance between performance and power efficiency.
Speaking about previous updates, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone as mentioned was recently certified by Indonesia’s SDPPI certification authority, and before which, it received the European EEC certification, China’s 3C and MIIT certifications, and India’s BIS certification. It has also been listed on the IMEI database. Moreover, few of its key specs have also been revealed, whereas the possible design was understood via the schematic, internal design, and render images that have been shared online.
About the expected specs, it includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, Android 15 based HyperOS 2.0, 6.7″ LTPO OLED 120Hz micro-curved display, 50MP(one-inch main camera sensor) + 50MP(small bottom ultra-wide angle lens) + 50MP(small bottom upright telephoto lens, 3x zoom) + 200MP(large bottom periscope telephoto lens, macro capability, 4.3x zoom) quad rear camera unit, 6000 mAh battery backup, 90W wired & 80W wireless charging supports, under-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, dual satellite communication, and plain leather/glass/ceramic rear panel.
Regarding its launch, it is said to debut next month (February 2025) in China, and later will also be unveiled in global markets including India. Stay tuned for more updates
